Signing up for emails and text messaging from companies can give you free items and discounts.  I love this feature stores and restaurants offer.  Some of the places I recommend are the following....
Go on over to Chili's and sign up for there email club and receive a free Chips and Queso.
Go to Kmart to sign up to receive the hottest weekly deals.
Go to Bed Bath and Beyond to receive email, mail, and mobile coupons.
Go to Target to sign up for coupons, daily deals, the weekly ads.
Go to Outback Steakhouse to sign up for there rewards program.  You earn points and can get coupons or "prices"
Go to Red Robin and join you receive a FREE burger on your birthday.
Go to redbox or text 727272 and receive a free movie code for every first Monday of the month.  This is the email I received after signing up online.
